Installation
Introduction
You need to install BeamViz for each version of Vectorworks. Head to https://benghiatlighting.com/software/support/downloads/ for the latest version.
The BeamViz installer has a .vwlibrary extension. The installation file should work as downloaded; do not zip or unzip the installer.

Installation
The following procedure explains how to install BeamViz via the Plug-in Manager
In Vectorworks, select
Select the tab
Click the Install… button
Navigate to and select the saved installer file
Read and confirm the EULA
You will have the option to automatically add tools and menus to your workspace
Vectorworks should notify you that installation is complete and to restart Vectorworks
Confirming installation
After installation, you should see the installed menus or tools in thw Workspace Editor.
You can also check for the plug-ins in your user folder. In , go to the tab and press Reveal in Finder Reveal in Explorer
Navigate to Plug-ins/-JBLD to see the plug-ins installed on your system.
Uninstallation
Navigate to your Vectorworks User folder, as decribed above in Confirming installation
Quit Vectorworks
Remove any unwanted plug-ins from the -JBLD directory
