Installing Plug-ins in Vectorworks 2014 and Higher

Vectorworks 2014 introduces a 3rd party installation procedure directly in the Vectorworks Plug-in manager.  Please follow the following procedures:

1. The install package can be either a .zip or .vwlibrary file (the latter works in VW 2018 SP1 and above). If the installer is a zip file, please ensure it remains compressed.  If your system automatically unzips archives, right-click on the download link and select “Save Link As” to prevent your browser from auto-expanding the download.
2. In Vectorworks, select Tools > Plug-ins > Plug-in Manager
3. Select the Third-party plug-ins tab
4. Click the Install… button
5. Navigate to and select the saved installer zip or vwlibrary file
6. Read and confirm the EULA
7. Vectorworks should notify you that installation is complete and to restart Vectorworks
